Suffocation

As an artist, we all go through roller coaster of emotions. With blue-black Pantone colour palette, I was portraying the darkness, the depth of emotions. It was inspired by a series of nightmares that were reoccurring.

Furthermore, I used jersey fabric as my base layer with silk chiffon fabric on top with the fabric technique. I used a technique called as Shibori, creating more gathers on the neckline, and slowly dispersed to the hem, creating an illusion of choker feeling. The hem of the top thin layer of fabric is undone and the high neckline is to depict roughness and toughness. “It goes on”.
