With an acute appreciation for art, textiles and craftsmanship, Parisian based Drishti Bhargava is the founder behind her namesake brand.
Having relocated to France at just 17 to commence studies at ESMOD, for Drishti, fashion is in the blood. With an exposure to exquisite textiles and appreciation for the industry through her mother, a career in Fashion was both a calling and predestined. As a child, self-expression came in the form of designing clothes on her sketchpad and honing her craft by learning how to hand sew. This appreciation for detail and delicate craftsmanship evolved into specialising in Lingerie and Bodywear during her third year of studies and with it the Dri Bhargava brand was born.
For Drishti, the fashion realm is both a creative and cathartic exercise. Whilst some write their thoughts down, design allows her to pour her energy into her pieces and in turn they are a description of her. This “dear diary” exercise ensures the brand remains personal. All pieces have been inspired by deep thoughts unable to be penned rather hemmed.
